16th Birthday Card

Had to make my friend a card for her birthday as I mentioned before. I didn't have a lot of time to do it, but I managed to pull something off.

She loves the guitar and has a very vintage look, so I doodled a little image for the card a while ago which I thought I could use. Used Promarkers and chalks to colour it in. The Vintage-y scraps are cut from old Victorian-style cards and the Lace is Papercraft 4 U paper lace boarder. The card and red paper is from my mum's lovely stash!

She really loved it and we all had a great day out, so smiles all around!

Sorry

I've been pretty inactive recently - with good reason, I've JUST finished my GCSE's and was out celebrating yesterday with a bunch of my mates [Went to see Terminator - wasn't great lol]. But I have been doodling throughout the process and have come up with a bunch of new sketches, I've also set up a Paypal account and some of you may have noticed my new blog. I fully intend to have a business up and running in the coming weeks when I have time to tweek my images and make a few papers - so please look out for that.

And don't think to badly of me being so inactive - I've just had so much to do recently! Sorry!

I have a card to upload soon as well, which I made for my friend's 16th on Wednesday - so, yeah.

Keep crafting! And thanks for all your help and support - love you all!

Happy Birthday Mum

As many followers of Pinky may be aware, it was her 50th birthday yesterday [27/05/09], and of course I made her a little card^^

I took so many pictures I put them in as an animation to make it easier to see, so you might have to click on them to see it. As I had to use a three-fold card. Card and paper, lace and flowers from the auld stash, the Pictures are drawn by myself and go in sequence.. like a sort of comic?

Above is the front of the card!

This is the second fold

And finally the inside!

Images coloured with Pro-Markers and Tria markers, with Tria Fine-liners.

Static Pictures:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

Hope you all like it!

What I'm Here For

As many of my mother's followers may have noticed, occasionally you'll find she [Pinky] uses a few of my drawings on her cards - she has convinced me create a blog and show some of them off and hopefully [when I find out exactly how], I'll soon be able to try and sell them - fingers crossed.

I'm a GCSE Art student and have been drawing comics and manga and the such for about 5 or 6 years and rarely stop doodling, so I'm constantly hoping to improve.

You can check out some of my old work on my DeviantArt Blogspot.

Here are a few of my pictures fully coloured Via JASCPSP9 which I drew for mum, so lineart is available - just click on the link below the picture to see where Pinky has used them!

Just a link to an 'Emo' Couple, which I haven't finished yet

All colouring in the linked cards has been done by Pinky with little guidance from myself. Ain't she great? lawlz
Any comments are appreciated along with advice and the such!
